Certification and approval of annual accounts for 2019-20

Regulation 15(1) of the Accounts and Audit (Wales)Regulations 2014 (as amended) requires that the Responsible Financial Officerof Harlech Community Council sign and datethe statement of accounts and certify it properly presents Harlech CommunityCouncil’s receipts and payments for the year. The Regulations required thatthis be completed by 30th June 2020.
The statement of accounts will be prepared and the ResponsibleFinancial Officer will sign and certify the statement of accounts when theimmediate pressures of the COVID-19 outbreak have subsided.
Regulation 15(2) of the Accounts and Audit (Wales)Regulations 2014 (as amended) requires that following the certification by theResponsible Financial Officer referred to above, the Council must approve theaccounts. The Regulations require that this be completed by 30th June 2020.
Due to the COVID -19 outbreak, Harlech Community Council hasnot met to approve the accounts.
