Llanfair – Certification and approval of annual accounts for 2019-20

Regulation 15(1) of the Accounts and Audit (Wales)Regulations 2014 (as amended) requires that the Responsible Financial Officerof Llanfair Community Council sign and datethe statement of accounts and certify it properly presents Llanfair CommunityCouncil’s receipts and payments for the year. The Regulations required thatthis be completed by 30th June 2020.
The statement of accounts will be prepared and theResponsible Financial Officer will sign and certify the statement of accountswhen the immediate pressures of the COVID-19 outbreak have subsided.
Regulation 15(2) of the Accounts and Audit (Wales)Regulations 2014 (as amended) requires that following the certification by theResponsible Financial Officer referred to above, the Council must approve theaccounts. The Regulations require that this be completed by 30th June2020.
Due to the COVID -19 outbreak, Llanfair Community Councilhas not met to approve the accounts.
