Network Rail Upgrade work to Cambrian Line

Update to upgrade works along our train line

JUDITH STREVENS

Here is some correspondence that we have received from Network Rail with regard to the planned upgrade works to the train line between Barmouth and Pwllheli

” the platform upgrade work at Llandanwg station is progressing well and we are hoping to be in a position to complete all work by early next week.

I also wanted to remind you that Phase 2 of refurbishment works at River Artro Viaduct will begin on Friday 25 October and last until Monday 11 November. This work will result in a temporary closure of the Cambrian Line between Barmouth and Pwllheli. We have been working with Transport for Wales who are putting on a bus replacement service during this time.

We have written to our closest neighbours who are affected by this work and I attach a copy of the letter for your information. We have also issued a press release today which you can read here
